The selection and setting of cameras shall meet the following requirements:


1. In order to ensure the overall function and technical indicators of the system, the camera selection should fully meet the monitoring objectives


The requirements of environmental illumination, installation conditions, transmission, control and safety management requirements of the project.


2. The minimum illuminance of the surveillance camera should not be less than 50 times of the minimum illuminance of the target environment. Code for engineering design of video security monitoring system (GB 50395-2007)


3. When the environmental illumination of the monitoring target is not high and the image definition is required to be high, the black-and-white camera should be selected; when the environmental illumination of the monitoring target is not high and the color camera needs to be installed, the additional lighting device should be set.


The light source of the additional lighting device should avoid direct contact with the camera lens, so as to avoid halo, and strive for environmental illumination


The additional lighting devices can be controlled by the monitoring center.


4. When the visible light illumination is insufficient or the camera is installed covertly, the infrared lamp should be selected as the light source.


5. The wide dynamic range camera should be selected according to the change of the illumination of the scene environment; when the illumination of the monitoring target changes in a large range or must be backlit, the camera with automatic electronic shutter should be selected.


6. The camera lens should be installed in the direction of light source to the monitoring target, and backlight installation should be avoided; when backlight installation is necessary, the light contrast in the monitoring area should be reduced or the camera with backlight compensation such as curtain grating should be selected.


7. The working temperature and humidity of the camera shall adapt to the changes of the site climate conditions, and the protective cover adapting to the environmental conditions can be used if necessary.


8. The selection of digital cameras shall comply with Article 3.0.5, 5.0.2, 5.0.3 and 5.0.3 of this specification
